Three Simple Steps

1.  Initial Investigation
In order to determine if you can benefit from an engagement with Proficio Services Group, an initial investigation is performed to take a prima facie look at your organization.  During this initial review, Proficio Services Group will attend your site for a number of days under strict non-disclosure agreement and conduct a general review of the primary elements of your business:

  • Business Vision and Goals
  • Business Organization and Construct
  • Accounting Policies and Practices
  • Accounting Process and Controls
  • Budgets and Financial Reporting Elements
  • Technology Strengths and Needs
  • HR, Payroll and Benefits Review
  • Information Systems, Consolidation, Accessibility and Reporting
  • Strength of Core Management Staff
  • Milieu Training, Standards and quality of care

This investigation will reveal primary areas of focus and opportunities that could justify the next steps, including the In-Depth Assessment and potentially Engagement and Partnering.  This phase typically takes one month to set up, perform and report.  Our report will provide valuable insights and actionable recommendations.  Whether you choose to fully engage our services or not, this report stands alone as a useful tool for bettering your business.

2.  In-Depth Assessment
Picking up where the Initial Investigation leaves off, the In-Depth Assessment will review the records, systems and processes of the company to create a specific implementation plan that will include the phased implementation of changes in accounting, technology, staffing, organization and/or other business elements as identified and agreed upon by the leadership of your business.  This phase creates an action plan that often spans from short term through several years into the future depending on the level of change needed.

Some of our clients rely on PSG to create a succession plan for entrepreneurial leaders or replacement strategies based on growth of revenues and profitability.  Other clients look to PSG to move them from old processes and thinking into new, more contemporary and competitive operations and processes.  This phase typically involves a few man-weeks of onsite work and two to three months of working together to generate the corporate vision and plan that includes the execution contribution from both your company and PSG.

3.  Engagement and Partnering
Once the plan has been created and a solid agreement has been reached as to directions, methods, execution and timing, PSG will then engage with your business as a long-term partner to fulfill certain back-office functions and to implement the plan as outlined.  Accounting, technology, banking, marketing, HR, Payroll, compliance and standards, tax, audit and other functions become the responsibility of PSG while execution of business process changes and corporate culture is the responsibility of your leadership team.  Together, we execute.

Not just accurate advice, excellent execution!
